SoundRelay is a local macOS app. Your audio is processed entirely on your Mac and never leaves it. There is no account, no analytics on your audio, and no tracking built into the app.
All audio routing and mixing happens locally in Core Audio on your machine. SoundRelay does not record, store, or transmit your audio anywhere. Your routing configuration is saved as a local file on your Mac only.
When you activate a license, the app contacts our licensing server to validate your license key. This request includes the license key and an anonymous device identifier used to enforce the one-active-Mac limit. No audio, files, or personal data beyond this are sent.
Purchases are processed by Polar, our merchant of record. Your payment details go directly to Polar and never touch our servers. Polar sends your receipt and license key to the email you provide at checkout; we can look up your purchase by that email to provide support.
This website does not use advertising trackers. Standard technical logs (such as IP addresses in server logs) may be kept briefly by our hosting provider for security and reliability.
